Project Title: Finding its way back home | Installation | 2017
Location: Selly oak, Birmingham
Situated in an overgrown garden, Finding its way back home explores found material being excavated and presented in a unideal way. The use of the abandoned greenhouse represents a shift away the conventual gallery space, questioning sculptures place, space and form in todays society. Using this space, stuffed, discarded tights are hung in the centre evoking a unnatural human response to the growing plant life surrounding the form and evokes a discussion surrounding the unnatural waste filling our natural environments.
